I just finished Peter Robinson’s new book Watching the Dark, which I won on book trib. It’s about corruption, a dead cop and a missing girl. I give it 5 stars out of 5.

Just finished Stephen King’s new book 11/22/63. Would you go back in time if you could and stop president Kennedy from being killed? Well, the title character does just that. It’s also about the consequences of that action. Great book. I highly recommend it. The only problem I had with it was that it was sooo long. I read the large print copy…[Read more]

Just finished the book Death Drops by Chrystle Fiedler. It’s listed as a Natural Remedies Mystery. Unfortunately it was more natural remedies than it was a mystery.
I hate to give a book a bad review because I know how hard it is to write a good mystery but this book has missed the mark. The main character, Dr. Willow McQuade recommends a…[Read more]

    • Oh no; I won that book, and it’s the next to read in my to-read pile. I’ll review it, but reading it will be like homework. My review will be honest.

Willow’s aunt owns a natural remedies store. She has also developed an antiaging cream that has not yet gone to…[Read more]
