Still hung up on ”The Serial Garden” from her ”A Small Pinch of Weather” short story collection. My mother got worried a bit about how sad I was after reading that book.
And I will ask her Ms. Joan ”if she could grant one magical attribute to any of her characters, what would it be and why”.

If you could have dinner with any author dead or alive who would it be and what would you ask them?: 2 years agoOscar Wilde is a great choice! His work is fabulous. I’d have to choose Dan Brown. I LOVE every book he’s written and I would ask him if I could go on the next trip he takes to find the places and history he writes about.

From what I know about him, he seems like such a character! So outrageous and scandalous, definitely ahead of his time. I would love to sit down with him, open up a bottle of wine, and hear his strong opinions on art and society.
