What is BookTrib?

BookTrib is one of the first real time aggregators of book blogs that’s updated 24/7. It is also a source of original content by authors, bloggers, videographers and a host of other critics and creatives. Book lovers have one place for the latest on what’s new and what’s hot — and even links to popular indie bookstores for what’ s happening on their local scenes.

BookTrib has an established presence among book bloggers and book buyers. According to Alexa.com, BookTrib is ranked in the top 1% of all websites. However, we can estimate approximate impressions at 1,950,000.

We feature great authors and titles in our weekly giveaway that has had over 300,000 unique entries. We have a regular following of 15,000 well educated readers who love books – primarily women – who have signed up to receive our regular email book alerts.

BookTrib now provides a lively social community component allowing users to connect with each other to talk about a book, provide their own opinions and reviews or even form book club.

How we promote books on BookTrib:

BookTrib Giveaway runs weekly, from Friday to Friday. We featured the book cover front and center on the BookTrib home page and create a dedicated book page that includes: hi-res book cover and author image, synopsis of the book, reviews or advance praise, author bio, links to purchase at major booksellers and Indie Bound, the author’s website, video clips of book trailers or interviews (if available).

During the week books and authors are chatted up on Twitter by our social media team and comments and blogs are fed into our Facebook pages. At the end of the week, ten copies of each book, provided by the author or publisher, are given away to randomly selected winners and mailed immediately.

All authors are invited and strongly encouraged to submit up to five guest blogs to appear on BookTrib’s blog during the week their book is featured. (300-700 words – free range on subject).
